The first week of June saw the Rapid Retail Production team onsite at the Silverstone Racing Circuit. The team were at the Northamptonshire Race Track, the home of British Motor Sport to prepare for the British Grand Prix, taking place on Sunday 9th July 2023.
Rapid Retail have a number of units at the site, all of which needed moving, the biggest of which is the eight bay Official Merchandise Store which covers 288sqm of Retail Space. This store had to be moved to a new location at the world famous circuit, to suit our clients requirements.
After taking the winter covers off the main merchandise store, they were then moved across the site before being re-fitted and set into position, a process taking several days.

Stage 1 of the move – to take the winter covering off the main merchandise store.
Stage 2 is to move the store, unit by unit across the site to its new location.
Stage 3 is to reassemble the store, unit by unit until complete.
Any internal work is then carried out.
