Rapid Retail launches new bar unit for Thatchers Cider at Bath Rugby Club

Rapid Retail, the stadia and events portable retail unit specialist, is playing its part in quenching the thirst of Bath Rugby Club fans. The company, which designs, fabricates, fits and supplies its units, has developed a new bar unit for Thatchers Cider, Bath Rugby Club’s Official Cider Partner.

The striking unit, measuring 7m x 3m, was unveiled at the premiership rugby club earlier this season, where it has ensured busy tills since its arrival. With a two meter cellarage area built into the unit to house the necessary cooling equipment and a customized rear counter containing built-in fridges, the bar unit has been designed to allow Thatchers to serve its  cider at optimum temperature. Externally, the innovative and eye-catching graphics, to reflect Thatchers’ brand value, complete the picture.

Martin Thatcher, managing director and fourth generation cider maker at Thatchers, who commissioned the unit, said: “The unit is a bespoke design which enhances our branding and heritage. We are delighted with the design, and fans at Bath Rugby have been really enthusiastic. Rapid Retail worked well with us to produce the unit in a tight timescale and to our complete specification. We now have a mobile bar that can be used at many different events when not in use at The Rec.”
